Get to know me

Hello everyone, today I have a little different post for you. Let’s get to know me and break the monotony on the blog. Since a lot of you wanted to translate my post ‘Let’s get to know each other’, in English, I decided to do one q & a post, but this time, only in English. I apologize to those people who are reading my posts in Serbian. The reason why this is post is all in English is simple, I already have a post in Serbian with similar questions. I have a couple of questions that you have asked me,  and thank you very much for that. Also, I put in a few questions that I found interesting. Thanks to everyone who asked me questions, and if you want to ask me something more, ask in the commentary on this blog post. I read all the comments, so you can ask me whatever you want (as long as it’s cultural) and I will, when there are enough questions, make  another post. Enjoy!

1. Which language is your native and was the one that isn’t your native hard to learn?

Well, my native language is Serbian. I have been studying English it for 12 years in school. And that’s really my ’second language’. However, I have some help on the blog because I  find it difficult sometimes to write in Serbian and to translate it into English, so my right hand that I love immensely, helps me and people who are not from the place where I live, could read my posts.

2. How did you gain so much insight into life?

First and foremost, a large part of it has the fact that I have been reading a lot since I was just a child, and therefore I am expanding my aspects and developing my knowledge of life. It’s not just about school, life is everything that happens by some ‘essential things’ in life. For my, almost 18 years, I must say, I am very proud of how and why I understand life in this way. I think that someone is simply born with that predisposition to be a psychiatrist to life.

3. Are you studying or a counselor or psychologist?

No, I am not. I am at the end of high school, but I’ve always been interested in human psyche and psychology itself.

4. What happened to you that you know so much about pain and suffering, and emerging stronger than ever?

This is so simple, and again a very difficult question. My life and the various people who passed through him happened to me. For this short time, I heard various thoughts, saw various views on which people look at life itself. I  realized that if no one is going to save you, you have to become a hero of your own story.

5. Astrological sign?

Capricorn.

6. How old are you and how long have you been writing?

I am 17 years old, in December I’ll turn 18 years. I’m writing somewhere from 4th grade of elementary school. I wrote poems, some kind of stories, now as a little mature person I have my own book that I am writing, and this blog that is my big love. I am writing, not a whole life, but some 6 years or maybe some more.

7. Are you a student?

I’m going to the final year of high school.

8. A fact about your personality?

So I’m a big perfectionist. It is identical with the fact that I am stubborn, so I have to realize everything I imagine in my head. These are virtues, but also my faults. Although this is what makes us perfect, is not it? And I’m not a person who’s late, and I never like to storm and to do something fast.

9. What you want to be when you get older?

I would like to be a lawyer, to be a writer, a dancer.. I have a lot of life’s ambitions. But most of all I would like to be someone’s home, someone’s family.

10. Phobia?

I’m very claustrophobic.

11. A favorite quote?

Dum spiro spero. In translation, while I am breathing, I will hope. We came, we saw, we loved what I have lika a  description on my instagram profile. They make me think and realize that without hope there is no life and that we came  here to love , not to ruin everything around us.

12. What does your name mean?
I was born on Christmas Day, December 25,so it is custom for children to get some Christmas name. That’s why I call Teodora, which in the Old Hebrew language means God’s gift.

13. Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have a dog named Leo. The race is Breton.

14. What is your favorite subject in school ?

Serbian language, definitely.

15. How old do you think you will be when you get married?
This question was very interesting, so I need  to answer it. According to some of my prognoses, between 25 and 30. But life is unpredictable.

16.What language would you like to be fluent in?
Italian. I love Italian and I teach it in my free time, and I love Italy, too. Great greetings for all people who are native speakers of Italy, I envy you!  ❤

Thanks to everyone again, we are our family here. A small family  but lovely. I hope you enjoyed and that you will write me and send me further questions. You can contact me by e-mail anytime or by instagram or twitter  direct. For all conversations, any tips, I’m here to help you. Lots of love ! ❣

I am happy to get to know you! I am also a Capricorn! Jan 9th.
I’ll say that if you’re this wise now, I will be looking for future you for all my life coaching! You’re so insightful.
“I would like to be someone’s home, someone’s family” – that is one of the sweetest things I’ve ever read.
Thank you for letting us know this about you. Being an American is a blessing and a curse, because while we do have a lot of advantages here, most of us just learn one language, one culture, and stay in one country. It makes for an isolated mindset, I think. We could stand to have more people from around the world come here, if we can’t visit there. I love learning different languages, even if just a few phrases here and there.

Talk about being impressed. 17 and you have made your blog pretty successful. I love writing too and reading is like my first love. I envy native Italians too and I always wanted to learn how to speak Italian and French because both of these countries go a long way back and their history greatly fascinates me. Happy writing!
