Don’t go for happiness, you won’t get it | mteodoraa

Happiness is a broad term and represents a series of different thoughts. People are different, look forward to different things, even to those wrong. For the years that I have, and for as long as I lived, I realized what happiness means to me. Happiness is love, peace, happiness is home, family. Happiness is all that can’t be touched by the hands, it only can be touched by the heart.

People  all their lives seek for some sublime, unreal, and above all, irrelevant goals. Years pass by, and people complain about lost things, unrealized dreams, broken love. All this leads to the knowledge that people are not happy. We seek too much for happiness not knowing that we already possess the small things that make us everyday life. We have all felt real happiness, at least once in a lifetime, I’m sure of that. Maybe it was the first spoken word, the first ride on the bike, the first holiday, the first friendship, the first love, the first tears of joy, the first child’s smile. It doesn’t matter what it was, at that moment, it made us happy.

Osetili smo svi pravu sreću, barem jednom u životu, sigurna sam u to. Možda je to bila prva izgovorena reč, prva vožnja bicikle, prvo letovanje, prvo prijateljstvo, prva ljubav, prva suza radosnica, prvi dečiji osmeh. Nije ni važno šta je, u tom trenutku, učinilo nas je srećnim..

We recognize real happiness when our heart laughs, not just our face. We’ll find real happiness when we stop for a moment and check if we may be happy all the time. Happiness is peace, tranquility in the soul. Money and all the wealth of the world won’t mean to us anything if we don’t sleep in peace at night, if we don’t want to wake up for the morning. Happiness is love, sincere and gentle. Deep in everyone, there is a person who wants to take off his masks, spread his wings and be happy.

People are shunning people on the road to happiness. Happiness is also the courage, strong enough to resist the world, enough to fight for its joy. We are all looking for happiness, we all want to have a beautiful and peaceful life, but people are full of prejudices. Happiness doesn’t judge, happiness is on her own.

You can’t rejoice at anything, if you don’t like it subconsciously. Basically, why all this? Life is short, the days never come back. We came to the world without a concept of life and we were happy. You know yourself, you were children, didn’t make material things to you happy people. There was something in the sunny day, the first snow, in the warmth of the home. Stop pushing for someone else’s door, turn around behind you. The gate of happiness is always open to all of us.

U suštini, čemu sve to?

At one point in my life, I stopped  searching for happiness. I lived day after day, without the feeling that it might be the last day today, that tomorrow it will never come. When I been asked if I would regret, then I did n’t know the answer, but now I’m absolutely sure that I would not regret it. I breathe with my lungs and I go through life with a smile.

Dišem punim plućima i idem kroz život nasmejana.

We are people, nothing is stronger than ourselves. If you like to sing, sing, although you do not have material benefits from it. But that makes you happy, and that’s the biggest reason. If you like to read, read as much as you like, happiness is in trifles. Little things are what make our lives.

We don’t notice anything while we own it, but we immediately notice when it gets us out of hand. It’s the same with happiness. No one knows what he has, nobody knows that he is happy, until he loses it.

Each of us deserves to have a happy ending. We rob each other what is not ours, leaving everything we have behind us. Don’t go for luck, you will not get it, let it go, it will come to you alone.

It’s all up to us to just open our hearts and stop looking for happiness because we may already have it, because we are certainly already happy.

You are so spot on with this – Little things make our lives, we need to open our hearts & appreciate what’s already here in front of us and the things that make us happy from within. Searching for the ever elusive notion of happiness is a fruitless exercise, but it’s quite hard to give it up and look inside where it counts. Great post! x

Tea, once again you fill me up with your wisdom. I imagine people sitting at your feet listening to you speak your philosophies! Keep talking… I’ll keep soaking it up! 🙂
